i recived an unexpected gift from her. an image of my ‘Muse’

in regards to ‘Professional Practice’, im currentlysoring out -2- exhibitions, which is very not fun. i have to sort out work for both places, and squeezing in activities in my Callendar. this will be interesting, but both will give me something under the belt for the Real world. stresfull, but i suppose it all comes in the Artistic package. then i read this from Annes blog:

Today I finished 5 (in words: FIVE) canvases and corrected one additional. I haven´t done that many since.. well, last year in April when I had my last huge deadline. >_>

My back hurts, my neck hurts, my arm hurts and even my butt hurts from sitting too long on a chair made for sitting straight (but not comfortable). But nevertheless I´m in a bliss. It´s done.. nothing to worry about. Just some small canvases left.. who cares. Those are easy. No backgrounds, no trees (ok, one tree…), no million clouds and no more red hoods (just carrots… but those don´t count).

I hope I won´t regret the night-shift when I wake up in five hours. Uh… @_@ …

i didnt feel so bad afterwards..

This is my lightbox. it decided to set itself on fire during a battery change and it stank of melted plastic. a new one has been orderd, however its not halted work, as i cant afford to loose time. i made a temporary one whilst the new one that was orderd comes through.

Something im working on. its also a good idea to make the most out of the old software you have. i love Photoshop 5, and im not special enough to get CS. Currently working on a project for university, and as its children orientated i felt i needed a break form the ‘cute’ and broke out into something a little more H R Giger. working on one style for so long can get irritating and its really nice to do something very different.
